Kate Dolan
Kate Dolan is obsessed with colour, form, bold strokes and graphic shapes. Kate’s paintings are driven by her emotions following life experiences or topics she is passionate about. As an abstract colourist, her palette inspiration can come from anywhere, from the colour of a house, an outfit she has seen on a stranger and quite often from nature.
Her pictures reveal captured moments, slices of time representing instants where clarity of an experience was seized, or a processing of an emotion was achieved. Whatever is happening in her life is reflected in her work. Kate works with mixed media, both acrylic and oil paint and also pastels.
