PALO
Born and raised in Spain, Paloma López Sánchez aka PALO is an abstract artist known for her use of different materials and surfaces.
From a family of architects and artists PALO has experimented and played with a number of artistic techniques and continues to explore new avenues which has led her towards figurative art with abstract overtones but the real value lies within the creative process. With influence from notable artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Brice Marden, PALO has been heavily inspired by their use of geometric lines and when tied in with her desire to understand different materials you can really see how the changes in surface begin to create depth and draw in the viewers eye. As the viewer continues to study the work, they see how light, colour and presence of time join forces to with the surface to create a whole new perspective.
