Noah Schneiderman
Noah Schneiderman’s paintings function as mirrors to his inner life and as objects of spiritual utility. Co-creating with the “Other” is a guiding force in his practice. By assuming the role of listener, Noah responds to chance and incidental mark-making through intuiting forms and arriving at discovered imagery. These discoveries help to cultivate an understanding of self and an understanding of the world. This confluence of the internal and external, acts as a bridge to uncover truth and questions about who and what we are. Informed by nature, memory, and the mystical, these works seek to brush against that which lies just beneath the surface of everyday life.
