Johanna Kestilä
Finnish artist, Johanna Kestilä’s, creative process involves motion and movement as she strives to find honesty and raw emotion in her work. Despite Johanna’s dynamic process, her work is often much softer than the practice suggests. Kestilä aims to represent life through her use of different mediums, and as she incorporates textiles and other materials into her work, we can really see the physical process in it’s final form as the layers and texture created provide us with something much more tangible and true to form.
