Frederick Ingoldby

London based artist, Freddie Ingoldby is known for his acrylic landscape paintings of Whitstable in Kent as well as his realist paintings that explore the moral deficiencies of humans today.

Freddie creates his landscape work by scraping thin layers of paint onto wooden panels using cutlery. The wooden panels used are often found on the beach, in skips or from people in the local area. Using recycled panels instead of canvas produces a much more natural and chaotic finish compared to the uniformity of a canvas.
