Jingyi Wang
Jingyi Wang is a New York based visual artist who specializes in oil painting. She received her BFA degree from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2013 and received her MFA degree from New York Academy of Art in 2016. Her works have been widely exhibited at Art Miami, Art New York, Sotheby’s New York and many more galleries internationally.
Her works focus on the relationship between culture and nature and for the past 5 years Jingyi has used Cacti as her main subject to capture her own feelings towards life. She paints cactus figures amongst almost dreamlike landscapes which are full of intense, vibrant colours. Jingyi has been heavily influenced by Impressionist art and that is very clear to see through her choice and use of colours.
