Nigerian artist, Ikeorah Chisom Chi-FADA creates enthralling realistically layered figurative, narrative compositions that emerge from his experiences as a young Nigerian and his personal story that tells of a relentless pursuit for purpose, despite the odds. Ikeorah explores what he describes as “visual poetry” in telling stories on canvas. The narrative of this visual poetry composes of layers of the plot, characters, figures of speech, symbolism and allegory as well as exploring the use of lighting and colours in the composition of his works.
