Eliz Gündüz
Eliz Gündüz believes that in a world where our brain is constantly focused on different thoughts, that it becomes still while painting. In her works, Eliz processes instantaneous moments, memories, natural structures and emotions that leave their mark on her in daily life. By abstracting them, she brings them into her own reality and perspective. Every movement on the canvas is specific to an emotion she is feeling. Eliz aims to make the viewer feel that same emotion and to share this reality and perspective with amorphous forms, textures, lines and colours.
